Interaction between 1,1,3-trimethyl-3-(4-methylphenyl)butyl hydroperoxide (RO-OH) and tetraalkylammonium bromides (Alk_4NBr) was studied by the NMR ~1H spectroscopy. Thermodynamic parameters for the RO-OH...Alk_4NBr complexes were estimated. Effect of the solvent as well as Alk_4NBr cation nature on the complex formation parameters is discussed. Possible structure of the RO-OH...Alk_4NBr complexes with combined action of the cation, anion and the solvent molecule has been proposed.
