These are the words I told Canadian Aviation Historical Society (CAHS) audiences during my book tour last year. I wasn't kidding, but even I didn't know how involved in aviation history - and the society - I'd get. Back in 2007 when I started For the Love of Flying (FLOF) fresh from completing a Masters of Arts in History at the University of British Columbia, I didn't know anything about aviation history or the CAHS. In fact, I came across the website when I first Googled those keywords (aviation, history, Canada) desperately trying to catch a foothold.
