AIDAA is the Italian Association of Aeronautics and Astronautics, a non-profit cultural national association having the aim to bring together people, industries and institutions interested in scientific and technical activities concerning the aeronautical and space fields. It was founded on 2 July 1920 by a group of aeronautic pioneers, assuming its present name on 15 December 1969 after the merge with the Italian Rocket Association. The scientific journals of the two mother associations merged as well into what is still today the only Italian trade journal in the aerospace field: Aerotecnica Missili e Spazio.
