The sufficient conditions of absolute stability of nonlinear control systems of the neutral type are obtained. The estimates of exponential damping of solutions are constructed. The results are presented in the form of constructive algebraic criteria. The Lyapunov direct method with the original function of the Lurie-Postnikov type and Razumikhin additional condition are chosen as an investigation technique
