Input-Output Connectors Distinguish CompactFlash Cards

As mobile information products shrink, uses are multiplying for memory cards that are smaller than conventional PC Cards. Among the most widely used of these small cards are CompactFlash cards. These now serve mainly as memory devices in digital still cameras, but are certain to become common in many other products. CompactFlash cards are about one-third the size of PC Cards. They each have a 50-position socket, compared to a 68-po-sition socket for the conventional PC Card.
