In this work, we have investigated the temperature dependence and effect of seed layer thickness on the exchange bias of a Ni_(80)Fe_(20) (t_s)/Fe_(50)Mn_(50) (20 nm)/Ni_(80)Fe_(20) (20 nm) trilayer, with ts varied systematically from 5 to 50 nm. Room temperature hysteresis loops show that variation in t_s strongly affects the exchange bias of both the seed and top Ni_(80)Fe_(20) layers. Magnetotransport measurements were used to determine the temperature dependence of the overall exchange field (H_E) and coercivity (H_C) as a function of seed layer thickness.
