THE next-generation supersonic transport (SST) in under con- sideration today because the Concorde has been in service for 20 years and is not fully successful economically. There are many ongoing researches in this field in the United States, Europe, and Japan. To guarantee its economic success, the next-generation SST Is required to have higher lift-to-drag ratio than that of the Con- Corde. To achieve this goal, development of a new design technique For supersonic wings is of great interest.
