摘要

The proposed method to generate the optimized procedured profiles provides a powerful framework to design flexible flight plans by defining less restricted procedures. Fuel savings achieved coincide with the ones expected by SES AR (300-500 kg per flight on average). Thus, this approach provides a tool to plan flights with much less consumption than current ones, close to the free-flight optimal benchmark performance. This framework is suitable to formulate a multicriteria multiphase optimal control problem in which noise, emissions, or global warming effects could be also included.
