This article is the product of a debate between my natures - NAS theologian and NAS financial analyst. If you chose to read on you will not have too much difficulty in parsing where the theology stops and the analysis starts.rnThis article came about because I am now, and have always been, committed to trying to accelerate the transition to NextGen in the US. I asserted that NextGen and its beneficial outcomes will not be realized without the equipage (with appropriate avionics) of all the aircraft that need to collaborate in order to achieve the desired end state.
