A Life in Aviation - Planzer's Passions and Projects through the Years

Planzer enlisted with the U.S. Air Force after high school and was an outstanding honor graduate of his basic training class. He went on to become an AP mechanic and flight engineer, training on the C121 Super Constellation. Next, he entered the ATC/ATM world and became an air traffic controller - serving at towers in Pittsburgh Elmira, New York; Richmond and Newport News, Virginia; Allentown, Pennsylvania; Phoenix TRACON, and Washington National.
