New Format for The Journal of Air Traffic Control

Happy new year and welcome to the first Journal of 2013. Over the course of my tenure as President and CEO of ATCA, I have stressed that our mantra is continuous improvement of the association and responsiveness to you - the members. In line with that thinking, I am pleased to bring you the new format of The Journal of Air Traffic Control. This is the last step in a process that started over 18 months ago. We received feedback from the membership on the quality and quantity of articles presented in the Journal. In response, we reconstituted the ATCA Publications Committee and through the leadership of the Journal Editor, the Publications Committee Chair, and the Director of Communications, we set out to bring you higher quality, more relevant articles. The processes and people we have put in place accomplished this very formidable task.
