Treatment of 90 Cases of Simple Obesity with Intermuscular Needling Method

The patient takes a supine position, 10-20 needles were inserted thickly with intermuscular needling method in the two rounds, whose centers were both Tianshu (ST 25) and radii were 2 cun. Then, the electric acupuncture apparatus was connected. Meanwhile, bilateral Yanglingquan (GB 34), Sanyinjiao (SP 6), Taichong (LR 3), Quchi (LI 11) and Zhigou (TE 6) were needled. Total 60 cases of obesity were treated with these methods, and 30 cases with conservative acupuncture as a control. The treatment results showed that the effective rates were 91.7% and 70.0%, respectively in the two groups.
