As access services emerges as a discrete discipline within the field of librar-ianship, opportunities for access services librarians to meet and discuss the issues facing today's libraries continue to grow. The annual Access Services Conference, hosted by Georgia Tech, is, of course, an important gathering, bringing together the widest range of institutions and experience, and many local and regional ACRL meetings take up subjects germane to access services, as well.
