urpose: To investigate the incidence and prognostic significance of radio- graphic aortic arch calcification. Method: Cross-sectional study and retrospective cohort study by chart Review and telephone interview. The subjects were 526 patients who underwent Chest radiography in January 1996. The site and length of calcification on the Circumference of the aortic arch were determined. Prevalence by age was Analyzed by simple logistic regression.
