In the Tokaido Shinkansen, the acceleration on the car body of commercially-operated trains have been measured every day, in addition to track measurement conducted using track geometry car. In this project, we developed a two-dimensional laser displacement sensor to allow measurement of all parameters of track irregularity in the measurement using commercially-operated trains. In addition, we developed an attitude measuring device that compensates the car body acceleration and the inclination of the point where the sensor is installed to improve accuracy. In the measurement tests, it has been determined that monitoring all parameters of track irregularity is possible. This article will describe the results.
