MULTI-ETHNIC NEIGHBOUR NETWORK IN MIXED-USE BUILDING IN WANCHAI, HONG KONG

摘要

The neighbour interaction inside a mixed-use building was studied by the generation and the analysis of the neighbour network model. In April 2005, 44 residents and non-residential occupants of various ethnicities were interviewed. The neighbour network model is constructed by denoting each occupant as a node and denoting the link among the nodes by the condition of knowing a neighbour by flat location. By network structural analysis, the organizing principles of the neighbour network are clarified as :- (1) In form of 5 separated subgroups and 7 isolated occupants; (2) Infra-floor nodes are clustered hierarchically than with the others; (3) Infra-floor clusters are connected by inter-floor linkage formed among people of similar ethnicity or speaking languages. (4) Nodes on the commercial floors are closely clustered but formed exclusively as separated subgroups. (5) The network follows the BA scale free organization in regards to the power-law distribution of degrees and the hierarchical clustering of nodes. The neighbour network structure is related to the mixed-use built environment in regards to the flat location, flat usage, and the occupant's attributes in regards to ethnicity and duration of stay.%本論文は隣人ネットワークモデルを用いて、混合用途ビルにおける隣人同士の相互交流関係を研究したものである。ビル内で交流のある人を特定するため、湾仔の混合用途ビルの、様々な民族から成る44人の居住住戸と非居住用途住戸に対して住戸毎に、2005年4月に聞き取り調査を行った。各々の住戸をノード、往来のある住戸の住人同士の関係をリンクとして隣人のネットワークモデルを作砠嗓筏俊このネットワークの構造を分析すると、度数分布がべき法則に則り、ノードが階層的構造を形成している、BAスケールフリーネットワークモデルの構成法則に当てはまることが明らかになった。
