This article considered the photograph which W. K Burton photographed after the Nobi earthquake in Oogaki of the stricken area, and following points become clear. There are at least six pieces (①~⑥)) of photographs which he photographed just after the earthquake in Ogaki. Photograph①and②photographed Ten·jinsha shrine at Shinmachi. Photograph③,④photographed the ruin of a fire of Jorenji temple. Photograph⑤overlooked the east side from the Ogaki Castle castle tower.
