Multi-objective optimization of prestress for cable-strut structures with multiple self-stress modes

A multi-objective optimization problem for the prestressrndesign of cable-strut structures has been formulated. The targetrnthat maximize structural stiffness with least material wasrnexpressed by objective functions of minimum eigenvalue ofrnstiffness matrix and average sectional area of members.
