SoftBank launches calling cards

SoftBank and convenience store operator Seven-Eleven Japan have launched the Kokusai Card, a prepaid international phone cards. The cards will go on sale on 10 June at 7-Eleven stores across Japan. The cards can be used from mobile or landlines, public phones, or PHS phones for domestic and international calls. They can also be used outside of Japan. The cards will initially be available in JPY 1,000 and 3,000 denominations. To promote the new cards, customers buying the card before 31 July will go in the draw for a number of Hello Kitty prizes.
