UK set to buy Combatant Craft Medium for SBS

The UK is planning to buy six US-built Combatant Craft Medium fast insertion vessels, documents released by the US Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) have revealed. It is expected that the 18.5 m low-observable special operations craft will replace the Project Belle long-range insertion craft (LRIC) currently in service with the Royal Marines' Special Boat Service (SBS).
