DCNS and Navantia approach resolution of submarine dispute

European shipbuilders Navantia and DCNS are close to announcing a resolution to their long-running dispute concerning their submarine designs, sources have informed Jane's.rnSpain's Navantia began talks with DCNS of France in May this year. Jane's previously reported that the discussions centred on the transfer of technology: while the partners jointly developed the Scorpene submarine project, Navantia developed its own S-80A design.
