Interceptors feel the need for speed with less fatigue

One of the most eye-catching displays at the US Navy League's Sea-Air-Space 2010 exposition in National Harbor, Maryland, on 3-5 May belonged to a little-known Florida-based company called Revenge Advanced Composites (RAC). Perched on a trailer alongside the far wall of the exhibition space was a 15 m interceptor craft with semi-wave piercing hull, vectored thrust drives and a small calibre remote weapon station atop the cockpit canopy, finished in angular disruptive pattern paintwork.
