UK demonstrator programme to explore Littoral UUV capabilities

Having acquired QinetiQ's Underwater Systems business the previous month, Atlas Elek-tronik UK was awarded a contract in October 2009 by the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) to lead the UK's 17-month Littoral Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (LUUV) Capability Concept Demonstrator (CCD) programme.
