The French company Raidco Marine has delivered two RPB 20 patrol boats to Libya and will deliver an RPB 33 patrol boat to Senegal later this year. The company also has an order for two more for Togo. Named Janzour and Akrma, the two 20 m Libyan Navy RPB 20s were handed over on 26 April. Raidco will also train 32 Libyan officers and sailors (two crews per boat) and six maintenance staff for a month in France before they sail the boats to Libya with the assistance of Raidco personnel.
