The successful SIGMA designs have become well known for their distinguished appearance and have demonstrated excellent performance with an effective composition of equipments in an attractive internal layout. Seven ships in three variants were built and delivered on time and within budget and are now fully operational in the Navies of Morocco and Indonesia. This success continues in the Compact SIGMA Series of extremely capable, high-speed, smaller ships with a length ranging from 59 m to 87 m and from 600 tonnes displacement to 1500 tonnes respectively. Functionality can vary from maritime safety or security up to naval warfare with a choice of highly capable topside weapon and sensor systems. The well-known SIGMA flexibility, performance and perfection will be further optimized in the Compact SIGMA, including some new features focusing on high availability, low maintenance and reduced manning.
