MEADS completes critical design reviews

All major components of the Medium Extended Air Defense System (MEADS) have successfully completed critical design reviews (CDRs), Lockheed Martin announced on 5 August, writes Doug Richardson.rnThis clears the way for the production of radars, launchers, tactical operation centres, and reloaders - hardware needed for system tests planned to take place at the White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, starting in 2012.
