DAGR rockets fired from ground launcher

Lockheed martin has conducted two flight tests of its Direct Attack Guided Rocket (DAGR), successfully firing the missiles from a prototype pedestal launcher and hitting a stationary target. The tests, which took place at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida during August, were announced on 25 September. Intended to demonstrate DAGR's capability as a ground-based weapon, tests involved locking the seeker of the rocket onto the laser spot illuminating a ground target 3.5 km from the launcher, then firing the weapon.
