The Israel Defence Force (IDF) Medical Corps has developed and incorporated a range of innovative new medical devices that it believes will help save soldiers' lives in future conflicts.rnMuch of the impetus behind the new technology came as a direct result of the lessons learned from operations in the IDF's most recent conflicts: the war against Hizbullah in Lebanon in 2006 and Operation 'Cast Lead' against Hamas in the Gaza Strip in 2009.
