Kazakhstan's air force displayed its modernised Su-27UBM2 'Flanker' multirole aircraft - complete with a weapons fit - for the first time in May 2010.rnFollowing a contract signed with Belarus' Aviaremontniy Zavod in September 2007 for the upgrade of 10 Su-27 and Su-27UB aircraft, the first of the Su-27UBM2s arrived at the 604th Air Base in Tadil-Korgan in December 2009, where they serve with the Barsi-Zhetisu attack unit.
