The US Army is conducting an operational assessment to explore the potential to equip a Gray Eagle unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with an electronic attack (EA) capability. The US Army is currently operating the manned Beechcraft C-12 with an EA capability. Raytheon, which makes the army's Communications Electronic Attack with Surveillance and Reconnaissance (CEASAR) system, is providing two electronic payloads to support the army's Networked Electronic Warfare Remotely Operated (NERO) system.
