Roboteam launches TIGR

Roboteam unveiled its Transportable Interoperable Ground Robot (TIGR) at the 2017 Association of the US Army conference. The medium-sized, tracked platform has been designed to detect, identify, and dispose of hazardous objects and has a modular design, Shahar Abuhazira, Roboteam's CEO told Jane's, "We created TIGR with the goal of exceeding the critical needs of the warfighter in today's complex combat environment with a focus on modularity in design that would simplify upgrades, repairs, and ease the costs associated with lifecycle sustainment."
