With Brexit looming in mid-March, little progess had been made in defining the future security and law enforcement relationship between the European Union and the United Kingdom. However, at the time of writing, a delay to Brexit appeared increasingly likely. Furthermore, many security policy issues remain unchanged and unresolved from the date of Jane's initial impact assessment in July 2016.
