Senior Indian defence officials have pointed to the success of a new online portal to manage defence offsets. The Defence Offsets Management Portal (DOMP) was recently introduced by the Ministry of Defence's (MoD's) Defence Offset Management Wing (DOMW) to improve the administration of offsets contracts and related work packages. The new portal was introduced following feedback from stakeholders in India that bureaucracy surrounding offsets was often excessive, leading to delays in many offset programmes.
