US Army to set out plans for hypersonic and directed-energy weapons to industry

US Army leaders will meet with industry in mid-June to layout their plans for developing a host of new technologies, including hypersonic and directed-energy weapons as well as space technologies, in efforts to better compete with Russia and China while also streamlining competing development efforts.
