Rheinmetall and FRAEN create new US munition fuze JV

Rheinmetall and FRAEN Corporation will form a new joint venture (JV) to supply munition fuzes for the United States military: a strategic move by the former to seek more involvement in the US market. The Rheinmetall Fraen Fuzes JV will be co-based at FRAEN's site in Reading, Massachusetts, and will be 51% owned by the German defence company, with the US precision metal components and assemblies manufacturing firm owning the remaining 49%.
