Indonesia to get six Scan Eagle UAVs

Boeing subsidiary Insitu has been awarded a USD9.9 million contract by the US Department of Defense (DoD) to supply the Indonesian government with the ScanEagle unmanned aerial system (UAS). The contract, which will be executed via the US Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programme, is for six ScanEagle air vehicles, equipment related to their operation, and technical support services. Work on the contract is expected to be completed by May 2022.
