As traditionally military technologies are increasingly finding their way into homeland security, Thales is reinforcing its efforts to target this emerging market The company is forecasting an annual growth of more than 10% in sales of national and collective security solutions for the near future. Group chairman and chief executive officer Denis Ranque said that the 65,000-strong electronics group was moving into high gear to strengthen its position in homeland defence. "We'll have to move fast, as the market is developing rapidly," Ranque told JDW while on a visit to The Hague on 21 April.
