NITEworks partnership adopts new funding mix

The future leverage of the UK Ministry of Defence's (MoD's) Network, Integration, Test and Experimentation Works (NITEworks) partnership with industry remains uncertain following the adoption of a new funding model. The NITEworks project was extended a further five years with the award of a GBP43 million (USD88 million) contract to industry lead BAE Systems in mid-December 2007, continuing research activities originally established in 2003.
