Jakarta To Receive Chinese Satellite

China Is to supply a remote-sensing satellite to Indonesia to help the latter monitor the surrounding seas, according to Tri Yuswoyo, the head of Indonesia's National Sea Security Co-ordination Agency. In comments published by I ndonesia's Antara state news agency on 23 December, Yuswoyo said: "China will grant Indonesia a satellite for monitoring developments in the sea. With the satellite, Indonesia's sensing capability at sea would be increased."
