USN working to keep LCS MCM modules on track

Officials involved in the US Navy's (USN's) Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) mine countermeasures (MCM) mission modules programme reported on 19 April that the programme office is working to minimise the effect of sequestration's across-the-board spending cuts on test and development schedules. With cuts required by law, the strategy is intended to mitigate any risk of delay in delivering the suite of capabilities scheduled for deployment on LCS in 2016.
