United 40 UAV started tests in Russia, media reports

Russia has begun flight tests of the ADCOM United 40 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) from the United Arab Emirates, according to Russian state news. RIA Novosti cited a defence industry source as saying the tests were taking place at the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) flight-test centre in Akhtubinsk. The United 40 (referring to the 40th anniversary of unification of the Arab emirates) is a medium-altitude, long-endurance (MALE)-class surveillance and combat UAV made by ADCOM Systems of Abu Dhabi.
