Rolls-Royce looks to set up industrial 'ecosystem' in India

Rolls-Royce is expanding its presence in India with a view to establishing an industrial "eco-system" that can develop, build, and support its aero-engines and other products in service with the Indian armed forces and in the commercial sector. Kishore Jayaraman, president of Rolls-Royce India and South Asia, told Jane's that India offers the company a number of key advantages - including demo-graphics, skills, and the strength of the national economy - as a location from which to increase its global competitiveness.
