摘要

As NATO prepares for another set of its annual anti-submarine warfare (ASW) exercises later this year in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, the alliance is looking for better ASW platforms to address mounting threats in areas such as the Baltic and Black seas. "We have found in the last two years we are very short of high-end anti-submarine warfare hunters," said Vice Admiral Clive C C Johnstone, commander of NATO's Allied Maritime Command and principal maritime adviser with operational command of NATO's Standing Naval Forces.
