Perth opens new domestic terminal

Perth International Airport in Australia opened its first new terminal for 26 years on 2 March. Construction of the AUD120 million (USD123 million) Terminal 2 (T2) began in September 2011. T2 caters for domestic traffic, and is intended to support a forecast rise in demand at Perth. Total passenger volume reached 12.6 million in 2012.
