A software copyright case

The following case confirms the law on software copyright. ClearSprings Management Limited, a provider of services to the Home Office, commissioned BusinessLinx Limited, a software house, to develop a system to report on housing allocation for asylum seekers. BusinessLinx worked with some existing routines of its own and wrote other code, using information from ClearSprings about its business procedures.
