There are any number of theories about the right way to recruit personnel. But the fact is that only practical experience shows whether the choice has fallen on the right persons and if they are being successfully integrated into the company. The logistics provider BAX Global is pursuing ways of its own in staff recruitment, and counts on the support of the Hamburg student initiative Copernicus for the selection of its future employees. When Gaby Blenessyova arrives at the office in the morning, she really has the hardest part of the day behind her, namely the long cycle ride to the BAX Global head office in Hamburg (Germany). Most of what follows is dealt with by the former student and actual business administrator more or less as a matter of routine. At all events the human resources managers of the logistics and airfreight company are sure that their recruitment and training programme is proving its long-term practical worth.
