Change in managment at the Short Sea Shipping Inland Waterway Promotion Center

The Bonn (Germany)-based German Short Sea Shipping Inland Waterway Promotion Center will be managed by Markus Nolke from 1 June. He will succeed founder Georg Waischnor, who retired at the end of last year. Waischnor was responsible for raising the profile of short sea shipping in his country, and helped to get a breakthrough for major maritime transport schemes by discussions with industry, trade and forwarding enterprises.
