Captain Wei Jiafu, who has been president and CEO of Cosco, based in Beijing (China), since 1968, has been appointed as the new chairman of the board of China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company (Cosco). Ma Zehua, the current vice-president of China Shipping Group Shanghai, was appointed as his successor as director of the board and president of China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company. Ma Zehua is simultaneously vice-chairman and executive director of the parent company China Shipping Development (CSD).
