The first two locomotives were shipped to Brazil this summer. Prior to shipment, they were dismantled into their component parts at Stadler's Bussnang plant in the Swiss canton of Thurgau and transported by road to the Port of Switzerland on the River Rhine in Basel, where they were reassembled and dispatched by ship to Cubatao, a private port near Santos in southeastern Brazil (via Antwerp).
