DPD acquires stake in Tiramizoo

The courier, express and parcel service provider DPD is stepping up its activities in the business-to-consumer (B2C) segment and has taken a 20% share in the German city courier portal Tiramizoo. DPD's acquisition of a stake in Tiramizoo makes the CEP service provider the largest external shareholder in the Munich-based city courier portal. Tiramizoo provides delivery within 90 minutes or within a specific time window in 15 German cities. DPD is now planning to offer its German customers same-day delivery by the end of this year, with the support of Tiramizoo.
